I can't help it.  I think the new BBC Sherlock looks like an alien.  It looks like his face has been stretched out sideways.  His eyes are too far apart and his cheekbones are oblong, giving him a feline look somewhere between an Avatar alien and a SGA Wraith.

So I was reading a bit of Sherlock Holmes fan fic and ran across this story.  I don't know who this gal is, but when I grow up, I want to learn to write like her.  She apparently writes Supernatural, too.  Awesome writing.

Ok, just came back from seeing Sherlock Holmes.  It was wonderful.  Except for a couple of minor quibbles, (Jude Law's mysterious disappearing and re-appearing limp and the fact that I could clearly see a flesh colored earpiece or hearing aid in his ear in one scene) it was full of slam bang action and two lovely guys.
